i’m such a stalker

This past Sunday was the 81st annual Academy Awards and I just so happened to be working at the Governor’s Ball rubbing elbows with all the big winners! Well actually I was serving the big winners…or just some winners…I had no idea who they were. BUT! I was ever so lucky to have a certain someone sitting at a table across from mine so that I could sneak some peeks at my discretion as I walked back and forth to the kitchen. Yes everyone, I am speaking of Rob Pattinson. Truly. And I swear we had eye contact and he smiled at me. Okay maybe he was just smiling and I pretended that he was looking at me. Whatever. He left before I could go up to him, which was probably a good thing because I might have been arrested for assault or kidnapping.

I also walked up the stairs right next to Queen Latifah so I’m scanning all the pictures of her to see if this could perhaps be my chance to have my face in the tabloids! My wildest dreams could come true! And apparantly I grazed past Sean Penn and caused a stir with some of the other servers because they thought I was being ballsy by bumping into him but I wasn’t paying attention and I never saw his face. I am so happy that he won and I was so deeply moved by his speech so I wish that I could have had that moment to savor…but alas I was too focused on bringing out the chocolate boxes to notice that I was invading the space of a fantastic talent.
